This time you are creating the program for a school choir
or band concert. Publisher only has one template for a concert. It's
probably easiest to start with this one and modify it as needed rather
than starting from scratch. There's a lot of things
you'll need in your choir program.
- A
list of the musical selections.
- Include
the name of the music, who composed it, and about how long each piece
is.
- Possibly a list of the
members of the choir or band.
- The name of
the conductor.
- The name of the school
(probably on the front cover).
- The date
and time of the performance.
- An
appropriate picture on the front cover to make it look snazzy.
- Appropriate decoration for the inside to add pizazz to your
program.
- A page might be devoted to
information on the school, or maybe the music program at the school. It
should, in a nutshell, explain who and what you are.
- Acknowledgments. Programs tend to thank people like moms for
the baking at the reception afterwards, the conductor, the school,
support of the families, etc.
Your
program needs a unified look. You should be carefully considering your
use of
- fonts,
- colors,
- and pictures to make all
four pages of your program look like they belong together.
